Powered by trusted pharmacists, Picayune Drug Company is a community-based pharmacy and durable medical equipment (DME) provider. Established in 1903, we are proud to be one of the first businesses in Picayune. We continue to operate from our original location in the heart of town.
A Family of Trusted Community-Based Pharmacies
This family of pharmacies is independently owned and operated by Andrew L. Failla, RPh and Brenda B. Failla, RN. They are driven by personnally hired pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, clerks and delivery personnel we trust and consider family.
We are proud to own and operate one of the first businesses in our communities, with Picayune Drug Co. established in 1903, in Picayune, and Pearl River Drug & Soda Fountain established in 1954 in Poplarville.
Small Town Feel
Picayune Drug Co. and Pearl River Drug & Soda Fountain both can be found among the history and tradition of their respective towns. Both locations are set within the historic business district and are operating from their original locations in the heart of town.
These two unique pharmacy locations gives rise to a sense of history and tradition. They are among buildings constructed in a style predating modern urban planning and featuring unique designs, materials and craftsmanship that feels connected to the past.

To better serve our customers within Pearl River County, Mississippi, we expanded out from our original pharmacy, Picayune Drug Co, to include Picayune Drug Company North on the north side of Picayune and our newest location Pearl River Drug & Soda Fountain in Poplarville, MS.
